It all started when I was a young and ambitious elf. My father wanted me to become a rich merchant like him but my ambitions were very different. I wanted to explore the world, see everything and everyone on the land or on sea. We had many quarrels about that and I finally decided to leave home... My mother tried to convince me otherwise but my mind was set and nothing could change my decision.
So I left home and followed the rivers going always deeper into the lands. I saw many things, and met many people. I mapped everything I saw, and noted everything in a small book. I had to rely on myself now. I honed my skills at tracking and hunting.
One day I was hunting the forest, I heard the sound of men at arms marching along the woods. Naturally I went to see the exact nature of the sound. That's when I saw an army massing near the woods, an army of humans! There were some green elves villages around here. I had to warn them of the danger that's coming. But alas, I got an arrow in the leg, one guard saw me and shot me! My leg was in bad shape, I tried to escape but they finally captured me.
They took me to a small encampment, where they chained me to other elves, green ones for most. They took my little note book too... I had to find a way to escape and warn my own people since they now have a map to lead them there! I heard them say they will be heading toward our village.
One night, the guard didn't secure my bound enough so I managed to escape. I sneaked past guards and entered the tent where the leader was sleeping. I took back my little book and managed to escape unseen. I ran all night long and kept going. I ran for 2 days, 3 nights when I finally arrived to my village. My clothes were all torn up. I was so tired that I fainted for a brief moment. (Ok, ok one day is a bit more than brief moment but I'm the one telling the story here.)
I warned the village of the troops coming this way. Without the book anymore they would not make it here as fast. So we had time to prepare for the battle ahead. The captain of the guards asked me if I would like to become the ears and the eyes of the elves. I accepted gladly, my dream came true; I could at last defend my village and explore the land.
Two days later they were at reach of the village, we were prepared and they gave me the honor to prepare an ambush for them. It worked just fine, humans don't hear anything with all the noise they do with their armor and their helmet... pathetic!
After a brief battle, there were no prisoners. We gave them the opportunity once to serve us and they betrayed us... no more pity for them.
Well that's most it, that's how I began to serve House Lok-ri's army. And it's not over yet, there is still a lot of human blood to feed the vengeance of the elves...I have returned to my rightful place in House Lok-ri since our house fell so many years ago.
