A Formal Decree |
I, Aramina Lok-ri, with the power granted to me by Set himself, from this day forward hereby decree that the noble family of Lok-ri will retaliate against those who attempt to infiltrate and steal what is rightfully ours. Our land, our knowledge, and our traditions are under scrutiny and attack by lessers who deem it appropriate to challenge the order of what is ancient and pure. Set himself is blasphemed by those who fear his power and covet his wisdom. Our borders are continuously compromised, our traditions are constantly trifled, and thus Set has become disgusted with our misguidance(no s) and the spoiled nature of what we have become. As a family we have grown too thin to appease his appetite. Henceforth, I declare House Lok-ri to stand against those who will challenge us and fight with those who will commission us. With the compensation that we will receive, we shall only hope to satisfy Set with gifts of material wealth and offerings of the flesh. With our blood and might we will dedicate ourselves to his ascendancy. All that fall in our path will either stand with us, or find themselves beneath the yoke of the Lok-ri slavemasters. If they are particularly worthy they may even be sacrificed to satisfy the Great Snake's desire. I command all of Lok-ri to reunite to gain strength under one banner by the passing of nine moons...

Aramina sorted through paperwork, signed certain documents, and set others aside for her to think on. She turned to her assistant and complained...
"No wonder the Dread Lord wandered off without telling anyone. He likely became insane with the monotony of paperwork! Ok, time to turn in. I am exhausted and my eyes are burning."
The shy slave turned to her and hesitantly pushed one last document in front of her.
"Milady, forgive me, but I think you should take a look at this one. It seems that it…well…was lost in the shuffle. It has been long overdue, and they are so very nice."

"Oh stop your silly gushing and show me what you are talking about. Who is nice? Nice in these times? When our God is so angry at us?"
She snatches the documents. They were the formal applications of domicile for Alijah and Leilieth. Her tired eyes took on a look of surprise.
"How were they missed? Where have these documents been? I blame you for not keeping this place organized for me. That is your job! That is why you have not been fed to the snakes!"
Without another word, Aramina jumps from her desk, pushes past the slave, and heads to the Halls of the Highlord. She claps her hands for all to pay attention. Everyone in the room and surrounding areas suddenly stop talking and look toward the Regent.
"I know this is late, but it is long over due and cannot wait another passing of a sun or moon. I hereby accept the two applicants, Alijah and Leilieth, to House Lok-ri as our extended family and instantly grant them the deserved rank of Bloodless of House Lok-ri. The formal announcement is being scribed and will be placed for all to see. Please all read the tales they told in order to find us in the library. Leilieth claims to be a Lok-ri! We will await our research results for her to be granted Bloodkin, but for now, accept her and Alijah as your own kindred."

The Game Plan
I. Release – May 20th, 2008
II. Role play Theme
- Preferred Race - Stygian
- All Bloodkin are Stygian.
- All Bloodkin must have a Stygian character with their Roster name.
- All Non-Stygian mains, must first level a Stygian alt before any other alts. Ex. If you choose your main as a Cimmerian, then your next character must be a Stygian. If you are Bloodkin, you must name your Stygian your House Bloodkin name.
- Since we don’t have access to Last names in AOC…if you are Bloodkin, please have a signature with “Lok-ri” as your last name in all public forums etc. Including our forum, please.
- Do not add "lokri" to your first name in AoC. There are no last names in game at this time, and we want to present a uniform naming structure to others. IE: We don't want a long "Araminalokri" over your head!
- Non-Full member Stygians join House Lok-ri as a slave unless otherwise granted by council (VERY RARE).
- Stygian Slaves may work off their indentures or petition for freedom after a period of servitude. This is not required, however, and they may remain slaves.
- If a Stygian petitions the House with documentation supporting their Bloodkin lineage, they will be provided shelter and protection in exchange for their indenture until their lineage is proven and verified.

Pre-Orders / Siege Mounts
You can pre-order the game through two stores, GameStop and Best Buy. With the pre-order you will get a three day head start, that means you will be able to start playing on May 17. There is however a lvl 20 cap until May 20, release day.
There are two siege mounts available through pre-ordering the game. The War Rhino and the War Mammoth. Gamestop has the Mammoth and Best Buy has the Rhino. Pre-ordering also gets you a three-day head start in the game.

A Virtual Coupon for Age of Conan
Bring your friends/family members (up to 5 people) to the fold during the first 2 weeks of release and these people automatically get inducted into the "Militia" (for lack of better word right now) without being in the "Initiate" phase, and if they play Stygian, they are automatically freed and free of Indentures. If they come with a full membership story and completed the application link, they are automatically placed in the "Petitioner" rank bypassing the "Initiate" and "Militia" rank.
